The new RE Syllabus was released very recently and our RE Leader was very keen to begin the new curriculum content (even though not necessary until Sept 18). The children had a wonderful time discussing Christianity with their peers and working collaboratively together.
The school celebrated World Religions Day by offing the children the chance to visit classrooms where a specific religion was accommodated.
Children worked in pairs or groups to discuss and share knowledge in order to solve mathematical problems.
The year 5 children from Brenchley Class were invited to Cornwallis Park by Maidstone Borough Council to plant some trees - it was cold and very wet, but they had a fantastic time!
