SEESAW FAMILY APP INSTRUCTIONS
Good afternoon everyone,
Thank you for all your patience and understanding while we set up remote learning. We have had lots of feedback and questions about SEESAW and hope this information will help you to use the apps available to you in a way that best suits your individual needs.
SEESAW CLASS APP-
The class app is great for the children to engage in! It enables you to add to the journal- you will be able to add your child’s work here; your child can interact with the work being added to the journal and be to ask questions in the comment section. If you are using the Class App successfully, you may continue to use this using the QR code on the school website.
Class app instructions can be found here:
SEESAW FAMILY APP-
We wanted to make those of you with children in multiple classes aware that the family app enables you to switch between classes on the device you are using without having to log out and log back in.
In order to set this up, you will need a QR code specific to your child/children. Please email me on email@example.com and I will send this to you. I have all of the QR codes for both the infant and junior school so will be able to send you this via email.
Unfortunately, you cannot upload work to the journal through the family app, however you can privately send work via the inbox and privately message your child’s class teacher should you wish to.
Both of the apps can be downloaded from here:
Seesaw family app instructions are below:
- Email Miss Mercer (firstname.lastname@example.org ) to get your Family App QR Code.
- Once you have received this, go to Seesaw and click log in
- Click on ‘I’m a family member’
- Click on ‘Create Account’
- It will then ask you to scan the QR code (which you will have received by email). Then you will need to set up your log in details.
If you require any further support in doing this, please do not hesitate to contact the school or Miss Mercer via email- email@example.com
We hope this helps to support your remote learning and enables you to access the children’s work a little easier.
Miss Mercer and everyone at St Michael’s :)
