Worship

We though the children might like access to a few of their favourite songs as a nice way of engaging with the Singing part of our worship.  If anyone would like to use the track of Our God Is A Great Big God and video themselves we can put these online to bring a smile to everyone's faces!  You can email headteacher@st-michaels-junior.kent.sch.uk or if you are a member of the Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/621684348412021/?ref=group_browse), you can add yourself :)

Take care and stay safe!

Our God is a Great Big God

This song was written by Jo and Nigel Hemming, part of the Vineyard network of churches.  It speaks of how big God really is and that we can feel safe with him.  It has become a staple of children's worship in churches and schools all over the world and is accompanied by a series of now well-known dance moves.

Walt Grace

Walt Grace's Sumarine Test, January 1967, to give it its full title was written and recorded by Amercian musician John Mayer and tells the story of a man escaping the pressures of the world. The writer intended the song to be an escape and to encourage people to rise above expectation and to not let anything stand in your way. This has become a very popular song amongst the children at St Michael's since I introduced it a couple of years ago.
